The Winter School on Diabetes Technologies: from Artificial Pancreas to Diabetes Management is a doctoral programme designed for Ph.D. candidates and early-career researchers with an interest in the latest technological advances in diabetes care.

The School will comprise keynote lectures, seminars, practical workshops and collaborative challenges, offering both medical and engineering perspectives on diabetes technologies. Lecturers will address themes ranging from glucose monitoring and predictive modelling to insulin therapy, artificial pancreas systems and telemedicine approaches.

A strong emphasis will be placed on applied activities, including the Glucose Prediction Challenge, group work and discussions on how emerging technologies are reshaping clinical practice and self-management.

The School will also provide opportunities for academic exchange and networking through social events, fostering a truly multidisciplinary learning environment. The programme will conclude with project presentations and a formal recognition of outstanding contributions.
